The Texas Spurs is proud to announce the return of Kelsey Sheldon for the 2019 season. Sheldon will be entering her fifth season with the Texas Spurs. Sheldon was the Texas Spurs teams captain in 2016-2018 and has continuously brought leadership, positivity, and intelligence to the field.
Sheldon started playing at a young age and spent most of her club years playing for Sting in the Dallas area. Sheldon continued her soccer career and signed for Nicholls State University her freshman year. Her sophomore year, she transferred to Northeastern State University, where she played three more years and graduated with a Bachelors of Education in Human Health and Performance and a minor in Business.
In 2015, Sheldon was the assistant coach at Northeaster State University, and has volunteered her time to coach within the Texas Spurs youth club throughout the years. The Texas Spurs are looking forward to Sheldon’s return.
