Marcos Perez was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin where he played varsity soccer at George N. Tremper high school. There he helped take the Trojans to three regional championships, and a state tournament bid in 2007. He then went on to play NCAA Division II soccer at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. While there, he was named conference player of the week numerous times as well as a national player of the week for NCAA division II. Upon graduating with his degree in Business Administration concentrating in Finance and Human Resources, Marcos helped coach the following class of goalkeepers. Now Marcos plays on the Texas Spurs men’s NASL team and runs the goalkeeping program for the Texas Spurs.
